Not getting notifications

Hi, purchased my versa a week ago. Till date not able to receive notifications. Tried the following things

1. Restart the device and phone

2. Made sure that notifications are enabled for fitbit app, both on tge phone and the devie

3. Cleared all data from fitbit app from settings and restarted the app

4. Uninstalled the app and installed again

5. Performed factory reset, uninstalled the app, and started from scratch

 

Still no luck. My friend, who also purchased the device is facing the same problems as me. Only call notifications are visible on device.

 

Any help appreciated

I actually have the exact same problem. I have been using the Versa for about two months now, and the messaging service has been very inconsistent. The Fitibit app  keeps asking to re-start my phone (which is a Huawei P10 btw).  The messaging service is an essential part of the watch, and it is very dissapointing it does not work correctly. It only works "sometimes".
