Not receiving text messages after troubleshooting iOS

I am not getting text messages on my Fitbit versa. I am getting Instagram, calls and WhatsApp notifications but not texts. 

I have notifications enabled on my phone and on the Fitbit app, I’ve tried unpairing and pairing again, shutting the Fitbit down, uninstalling the app and reinstalling it, The do not disturb is not on. iOS update on my phone and the Fitbit is up to date too. 

I keep trying to fix this daily using the forum but nothing works.

Do these notifications show up on the phones lock screen?

Is preview on?

It would be easier to get the right people if iOS was mentioned in the title of the post. You might want to edit.
