Everything was working until last night. When syncing my phone it’s not working. I’ve done all the necessary steps. It’s a Fitbit thing once again like it all always has been with there products. It’s was nice while it was working with no issues!!!

Rich_Laue I have an Android, Samsung Galaxy S7. I just had a security update for my phone and my Versa Lyte will not sync anymore? What should I do now?
I can try restarting my phone again, and turning off and back on again the bluetooth. I will reply again later with an update.
Keep me in the loop as to a solution.

Seems there was a service outage at fit it yesterday which affected the access to Fitbit.com, stats on the app not showing, and syncing issues.
I was also wondering why my versa 2 hadn't synchronized in over 3 hours then realized it was the same for my wife. Went on to Twitter to see fitbit's support account and they had also reported the issue to warn users.
So it probably wasn't your watch that time

@XoSecretary I'm not sure what type of security update but if it was me, I would first check for a Fitbit app update and if their isn't one. I would log out of the Fitbit app, then log back in, the app should ask for permissions. If this doesn't work I would remove the Fitbit app and install from scratch. I often find with a phone OS update. Especially a security update, permissions get revoked.
