Notification Service not running.

So I recently bought the Versa Lite and loving it so far. The only problem I am having is notifications. I keep getting the "Notification Service not running" message (I'll put a screenshot below). Because of this I'm not getting notifications at all. I did a live chat with someone from fitbit who suggested making sure everything was enabled to receive notifications which they are and then suggested turning of Bluetooth impairing fitbit from phone restarting fitbit and phone. I've done this and the fix was temporary lasting a few minutes. I'm not sure what is causing it and I've tried the trouble shooting stuff. Im worried it's my phone that's causing the problem (Huawei P30 Pro) and I really hope it isn't.

Any help is appreciated!!

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @SunsetRunner. I am sorry for the delayed response.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing the issue you're experiencing with notifications and providing the message you receive. Thank you for your efforts to resolve the issue and for taking the time to contact Customer Support regarding this. I understand your concern and would like to confirm that Huawei P30 Pro is not a supported device for the Fitbit app at this moment. If a device is not supported by the Fitbit app, it doesn't mean that it won't work with the app entirely, but rather that some of its functions might work intermittently. I recommend checking the following article with useful information for the Android users: What should I know about using the Fitbit app on my Android device?

I would like to confirm that we’re aware of this issue affecting some users and we're working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible. I appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to improve your experience.
