Notification stops working Versa 3

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Notification stops working. Tried unpairing, repairing. Power cycled my phone, restarted my phone. This happens every 2-3 days that I have this happen. I have a Huawei p30 and it's really starting to get on my nerves. I'm really unsatisfied about this. The only way that I get it to work again is factory reset on the Fitbit, deleting the Fitbit off my phone and re doing it from scratch. Please help me fix this issue

Hi, thank you for all the information that you've provided regarding the problem that you've been experiencing with your Versa 3 and the troubleshooting steps that you already tried, @Neil_lefaivre

Before considering other options, make sure to follow all the steps listed here to resolve problems with notifications. This has been useful for other users experiencing the same problem.

In addition to the steps mentioned earlier, make sure that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app installed and to check all the compatibility requirements here. Keep in mind that you need Android OS 8.0 or higher or Apple iOS 13 or higher on your phone and that you won’t see notifications on your Fitbit device if you turned on the Do Not disturb Icon or Sleep Mode.

Thanks again for sharing all your feedback and comments about this.

Hope this helps, I'll be around.

My android is updated to version 11 and my Fitbit was never on sleep or do not disturb... My phone also was not on silent... It kept showing as the phone needed to be restarted from either restarting or doing a power cycle

@Neil_lefaivre Thank you for confirming that you already tried the troubleshooting steps suggested earlier.

In addition to all the steps mentioned earlier and since you're receiving a specific error message asking you to restart the phone, make sure that you've also tried the steps here below:

  1. On your phone, open the Settings app then Apps and notifications then Apps.
  2. Tap Fitbit then Battery.
  3. Turn off the Power-intensive prompt option.
  4. Tap Launch.
  5. Turn off the Manage automatically option, and turn on the Auto-launch, Secondary launch, and Run in background options.
  6. Tap OK.

You can find other useful tips for using the Fitbit app on Android devices here.

I'll be around.

It happened again today and I just removed the versa 3 from the Fitbit app, deleted the Fitbit app and the versa 3 controls... I then reinstalled everything and it works again
