Notifications concern

I just got my fitbit versa and it was working fine after a couple days the notification vibration quit working and so did the notifications can not receive calls or texts, etc. I have the fitbit app on my Samsung phone and my desktop when I shutdown my desktop my versa started to work again which is weird because I had my computer on before and it all worked, I have reset everything, uninstalled and installed, checked that everything is on for notifications, so what did I do wrong? I hope this makes sense, I am old and not used to this new stuff!!
