Notifications - never received them

Since I bought it (about 7 months ago) I have tried to get WhatsApp notifications on it (and phone calls).

Phone calls, it worked for a couple of times, but never got notifications of Whatsapp of other message services.

On my app it says "Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker." Naturally, I have done it many times - but it never worked.

Any ideas on how to solve it?

Hi @IgorC 

Android, iOS or Windows? With my Android, I had to make sure I gave the app permission, but also gvae my phone permission to send out notifications. A restart is always good, but until both were done, I didn't receive the notifications. Might this be the case for you?

Might be that - but where on the phone should I approve it? Can't find a definition in the settings.

Android go to Settings -->Apps --> Fitbit --> Notifications

Thanks, indeed it was all selected there - all that could be on, was on.

Still, I get the same message error and I get 0 notifications from calls or messages.
