My notifications are not working on my versa. In the Fitbit app it says that I have to restart my phone to ger them to work. I have tried that propably 10 times. I have also tried to restart my versa and also tried to download the app again. Is it just me that have had this problem? It hasn't worked in over 2 weeks and I have tried everything...
I got them to work ! I read on another post to turn the message preview on in notifications for messages. It sucks because people can read your messages on your phone. But as soon as I switched that on it started working on my watch again.
Best AnswerMy notifications is not working either. I have versa 2 and an Android phone. I've given fit bit permission on my phone, restarted my phone. Still not working. I need help
I went through this yesterday. I called Fitbit talk to The tech Guy went through some steps had to restart the versa and they started to come through however today they're doing the same thing again. They're not coming through. Thinking about returning it all together.
Best AnswerI am having the same problem for the past couple weeks too. I did a live chat earlier in the week and was told a "problem ticket" was being done....no solution yet. I also have tried restarting my phone numerous times and did everything in the troubleshooting document. Nothing has worked and I wonder why I paid for this watch.
Best AnswerI don't have an iphone and I have not been getting any notifications for two weeks, so it must be something else.
Best AnswerMy fitbit started to receive text notifications yesterday. Not sure if it's because tech had me turn all my notifications in the fitbit app off, unpair my versa, restart my phone and reset my versa (pressing left and lower right buttons together until the fitbit logo showed up). An app I was having issues with also started to work.
Worth a try.

Best AnswerMine started working late yesterday (finnish time). I didn't do anything, I didn't even touch the phone.😅 Let's hope it will work normally in the future!
Best AnswerThanks. So I'm gathering it's not the device itself it's a Fitbit issue. I've read this from others that have had it much longer than I have, the device. I went through a process with the Fitbit tech on the phone a couple days ago and it could start to work again but I'm not keeping this if this is what's going to happen every couple days cuz it's already happening again.ok ty
Best AnswerI was told by Fitbit that they are having issues with androids running Version 8.0 and above. I currently have a Pixel 3xl and was not having an issue until recently so i am not sure what their programmers are doing but seems to me like they need to find some better ones.....It seems like it should be a priority to resolve since they are rolling out version 10 of android now and mid 2020 Version 11 will be out.
