Every hour or two, my notifications service is not running. A phone restart is required, says the error. 

No matter how much I reinstall the app, restart the phone, or clear data from apps to sign into fitbit app again - the problem is recurrent

I use a OnePlus 6T btw. Has someone had this problem and found a long lasting fix?

Try:

 

1) Disable the battery optimization for the Fitbit app

 

2) Lock Fitbit app in multitasking switcher

 

3) Restart your OnePlus device
