Odor with woven band on Versa 2

Have been wearing my fitbit 2 for the past 3 months during my morning workout.  but it has been starting to really smell and last night was awful.  I scrubbed with Dawn and old brush, but still had an odor this morning.  It is the woven charcoal/black band.  Anyone have same issue and have luck cleaning/deodorizing their band?

Hi @lyndy1017  since it's fabric, have you tried using something made for fabric, like Febreze? It might help. Let us know if it works.

You may want to use some hydrogen peroxide to kill the bacteria.

Does the odor smell like a gym locker? If so it is from decaying bacteria.
