Pace / Splits

Hi everyone.  I've searched and read different threads but I'm still having trouble understanding.  Hoping you can help and let me know if pace and splits match up.  In my head, it just isn't making sense.  I'm a newer runner, just since July and I'm looking to continue to improve but not sure if this data is matching up / can be counted on 😊 I think the pace makes sense as my total run time was 38 mins 56 seconds for 5 kms.  Thanks in advance for your insight!

You track distance in kilometers, but the pace breakdown is in half mile increments.

Is it possible you have "Miles" set up as the lap measurement?

It will show the lap measurement in the "Walk" exercise app screen just before you tap the "Go arrow".

You can correct this in the app (I have iOS, but I'm sure it is the same, if not similar, for Android devices).

  1. Tap on the account icon in the top left of the Today screen.
  2. Tap on Versa 2 in the Account screen.
  3. Scroll down and tap "Exercise Shortcuts"
  4. Tap on Run.
  5. Under "RUN LAPS" select "kilometers" instead of "miles".
  6. Tap the "Today" screen shortcut at the lower left of the screen.
  7. You should not have to sync your device, but it wouldn't hurt to do so.

See if the above helps

Hi!  Thanks for the suggestion...it did the trick.  I hadn't realized I had to go in and change those settings as well.  Thanks again for your help 😊
