Has anyone solved the problem re pairing Versa 2 to new phone that has Android 11 . I have tried reinstalling app , log in log out .Turning blue tooth on and off and logging out and pairing with a device pre Android 11 and then logging back in but device still won't pair via blue tooth

Hi, did you restart the watch and have you tried to "+ Set up a Device" on the new phone, making sure the Bluetooth entry was removed from the old phone and it or any other Bluetooth devices are switched off.
