Payment feedback

This is a more general topic I would like to get the attention to. I am a user of Fitbit since the beginning - I had the first model of watch and continued with Fitbit ever since. My family also uses Fitbit. One thing I don't understand is why Fitbit insists I should pay a subscription to get information from sensors already installed in my watch.

To be more clear, there is a temperature sensor and I can get only the temperature variations during the night but not the complete readings. I hate renewed subscriptions and I understand that there should be one for programs etc. But how much do I need to pay for a watch to get the things from the hardware already installed? I will consider paying for some things like programs, but not for basic information from my watch. If I need to buy an extra device from a different company I will, buy I will not buy a subscription, out of principle. I fell I am being abused by some smart manager looking to get even more money.

Hi @JohnEod -  there is no need to pay subscriptions, all the basic information is available without. What extra you get with a subscription is minimal and not worth the complication, especially as it can be quite unreliable or problematic.

You are right in that the potential of an expensive watch is not being fully realised, and it should not be necessary to pay more to unlock items.
