Question with read receipts and versa 2

Apologies if this has been answered (or is obvious), but if read receipts are on through iMessage and notifications are cleared through versa 2, does it show as read for iOS users? Sometimes I don’t have the time to reply or texts come through when I’m in bed and I’d rather wait until morning to reply. As a general rule I have read on, but have been turning it off as of late since I’m unsure of this. I’ve had people say yes, and people say it hasn’t.
