Questions on Versa

I recently bought Versa and I have few questions.

1. Most of the times, the heart rate symbol (the heart) is hollow on the screen. Sometimes, the heart is filled with color (red) and it has two dots above or below. What does it mean?

2. The sleep hours shown in the app is sometimes wrong. It says I've slept for a couple or so hours when I was not even wearing Versa. Does it happen to others?

3. The heart rate is stale when I am not wearing Versa. I think this happens mostly with the clock faces that are not from Fitbit. Does anyone agree?

4. Does anyone know if NFC works in India. How to set it up?

Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge, here are my answers:

1.) The heart rate symbol you're seeing means that your heart rate is extremely high, like it's in exercise mode.  This is what triggers Smart Track, the technology to automatically recognize and record your Active Min. and your exercise.

2.) Once the Versa stops sensing movement for at least 3 hours, it will go into Sleep Mode, because it thinks that the lack of movement is because you're sleeping.  It will then record that as sleep data, which can be edited by following the instructions here.

3.) That would happen with almost any clock face, as the Versa can't detect a heart rate if you're not wearing it.

4.) It doesn't look like any banks in India are on the Supported Banks List, but if they ever are, here is how to set up Fitbit Pay.

@MadBit It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Happy to hear about your new acquisition. Besides @DramaQueenDiva's great explanation you might be interested in reading the Versa's manual to get familiar with all its features and functions.

Let me know how it goes!

Thanks for your comments.

One point 3: What I mean is, the heart beat shows some number when I am not wearing it. I expect that to be '0' or '--'. This doesn't happen with the Fitbit developed clock faces.

On point 4: Thanks for the link. I am not sure why Fitbit sells the special edition in India when it doesn't support any banks. If Indian banks are to be added in the future, it's not worth the wait. It's already more than six months since they released Versa. People change their devices so quickly these days (I don't mean I will; will stick to Versa for a considerable amount of time, I think).
