Quick View toggled off after system update?

This has happened a couple of times now.  When a system update occurs on my Android phone it appears that Quick View on my Versa 2 gets turned off. Any clues as to why this is?

Hi @TomCunningham - interesting observation.

The Quick View [wrist wake] can also be turned off on the watch.

When the watch is syncing properly with the phone the 2 should match.

When the phone gets an update the storage cache gets cleared. It is sometimes necessary to clear this when the watch is not syncing properly.

So after the phone update the watch is able to sync properly again and may then pick up the current Quick View state from the watch.

The reverse may also be true but the cache clearing during an update is probably the key.

Weird. Well, if syncing can get it back on track it sure takes a long time.
The system update happened this morning and I just noticed the switch was
off this evening. So which one takes precedence, the phone or the watch? In
this case it looks like the phone is taking precedence, e.g. the cache flush
turns the switch off, and that turns it off in the watch. Bad. Phone
settings should always be preserved across updates.
