Quick replies stopped working on my Versa 3

I'm having an issue with my Versa 3 when I have notifications that I can respond to. I have several apps on my android phone that send notifications. The notifications show up on my Versa 3 without any issue. However, if the notification allows a response such as "complete", "skip" etc and I enter one of them the response is never sent back to the application. This worked fine initially went I first set up my Versa 3. Now 3 months later it just stopped working. Any idea on how to fix this would be appreciated.

Apps that allow you to reply to a message directly from the notification on your Android phone also support quick replies on your Fitbit device. This includes, but isn’t limited to, apps such as:

• Text messages
• Twitter
• Facebook Messenger
• Line

How do I determine why Fitbit app is not handling replies from my Versa 3  for some apps or if the replies from Versa 3 are never making it back to the app?
