Since the last update quick replies do not work with Facebook Messenger. I get the option on my watch, I send the reply, it SAYS its sent, but nothing happens in the messenger app. Message is not sent. What gives?

While reading your post I was wondering if the mobile device you're syncing with is included in our list of supported devices? You can see the list at: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?
Please keep in mind that when a device is not supported we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance.
As a first approach, I'd recommend to restart your Versa by following the steps in the help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
As you may know, quick replies are automatically turned on for any supported apps that send notifications from your phone to your Fitbit device. For more information and troubleshooting steps, see How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?
