All I want to do is put my music onto my watch. But every time I try to in the Fitbit Windows 10 app, I get an error "There was a problem communicating with the Fitbit server. Please try again later."
WHY WHY WHY? Why does it have to connect to the Fitbit server to put music on my watch? I own the music, I own the watch. Stay out of it Fitbit!
My wife got me a fitbit Versa for my birthday and everytime I use it it makes me want to throw it in the garbage. But I can't, because it was a gift that my wife was so excited to get me. I have a Tomtom Spark GPS+Music which did everything that the the Fitbit does. It would let me transfer music directly over USB to my watch. It has BUILT-IT GPS! And when I want to know what time it is, it actually shows me without me having to shake my wrist, or push a button! But Tomtom has discontinued support, so I'm left with this thoughtful gift from my wife: fitness watch without built-in GPS (so I have to bring my phone on runs with me), that is a music player I can't transfer music to, and that doesn't tell me what time it is.

I'm still being able to do all the stuff Fitbit claims with the Versa, except for downloading clock faces and apps. And when you bought yours today, that will mean that you can't do anything, because your Versa needs those broken servers to install clock faces and apps (and maybe the complete software?) in the first place. So... be patient. 😉
shouldn't have to be patient with a BRAND new $200 item. it should work out of the box

I just got my Versa yesterday, synced it, and started wearing it. The face only displays:
clock error- go to the Fitbit mobile app and try another clock. I did as it says and no clock face options (or anything) shows... it is just blank no mater what I click. I have tried deleting the app and redownloading and shutting on and off both devices.
Going on 24 hours with an expensive bracelet only. Please help!
Thanks

My husband and i are having trouble with the fitbit app as well with transferring personal music from our computer. Also shuts down the app on us. I'm glad they are working on it though.

Yep.... You are now part of the Versa Fitbit watch error group!! No worries though, Fitbit insists they are "on top of it" trying to fix the several errors we are all encountering.
I wouldn't try to fix it, as you will further mess it up. I tried to do this last night (started with your "no notifications to see, no clocks, and no apps") and now I have an error stating "clock error -go to your fitbit mobile app and try another clock". However, there is no way to maneuver this as it won't let me go anywhere. Now all I have is a watch I can wear that shows nothing but a bunch of gibberish.
Hoping like everyone on here that Fitbit fixes this mess really quick. There are so far a bunch of really confused and unsure people on here with the same issue and no fix. Not to mention there is no specific timeframe for any fix either.
Gotta love "new" stuff. hahahahahahaha

I work in IT, so I know how it goes sometimes; however, this does not look good. I preordered my Versa, so I've had it for approximately two weeks or so. Overall, I enjoy it. But honestly, in light of all this, if I had an iPhone in lieu of an Android, I probably would go with an Apple Watch at this point.

I'll give it a few more days to see. If not by the end of the week, pretty much a given that I will have to return it.
This is not cool, Fitbit!!!

I have the iphone 7 and have the Fitbit app installed on my phone. When I select my watch, then select Apps, nothing shows up. There isn't anything that will show up on "My Apps" or "All Apps". Is there anything going on with their servers or is it something on my end? I have tried restarting my phone as well as deleting and reinstalling the app.

Good afternoon,
I was on Fitbit chatting with them this morning because I am having the same issue. I have had it about a week now and it was working fine, then last night, I thought I wanted to change the clock face and nothing came up. According to a Fitbit rep, there is an issue with the Fitbit system and they are working on it. Hopefully, they will get it straightened out soon. I sure hope so anyhow.

Yes I have Clock Error as well. I thought it was just me because I already had a Charge 2 synced to my device. In the All Clocks tab it is just blank I don’t know if there should already be styles to choose from or I have to download them

It is a fitbit app issue that will be resolved. I myself was thinking the same outcome with the fact that android phones will not allow you to answer a call. If Samsung thinks it is a hazzad, it is the same as opening a message on the watch. 1 button lol. Anyway I know how frustrated you are. I'm getting there too with not being able to answer calls via watch and now this fitbit app thing.

I purchased yesterday and did setup today. Got the clock error. I'm going to give fitbit a couple days to resolve this problem before returning the product. I currently have the blaze and really want to move to this versa.

Honestly, they could have, and should have, just made it so I can plug the cradle into my PC and transfer music directly. It would be faster than their wi-fi method, and shouldn't necessitate Fitbit's servers being functional.
