Purchased a versa lite for my daughter and the screen won’t clear or sync. Has a red x on the screen. Restarted and it’s still there.

Well they are sending me a second replacement. The first one would not
connect to my phone and I was charging it every 12 hrs. I’m ready for my
iwatch back.

Hello Wow, that is too bad to hear. I received my replacement about two
weeks ago..and so far working, knock on wood.

There is no back button on the VERSA 2 is there? Since this is the best answer, how about providing one relevant to the VERSA 2 please?

Hello...I am a user of fitbit, just like you. Please contact fitbit support
to find your answer. I received a replacement because the one I bought
could not be fixed.

Apple Watch is slightly more expensive... but FAR more reliable.

I call the service #. And they replaced it... twice. Because the first
one didn’t work.

Welcome. They might ask you to repeat all the steps that you have already
done. But if it’s under a year old they should replace it

Hello...sorry to hear about your fit bit. If you bought it under a year...it should still be under warranty. You should contact fit bit support for a replacement.

Hi. Sorry to hear that. If you bought it less than a year ago, I would
recommend asking for a replacement. Contact Fitbit support...that is what I
had to do to get assisted. Good luck.

Keep calling them they will send you one that working. It took 2 times to
get one to work.

I wrote a lengthy communication to FitBit about the RED X condition. I then
had several phone interviews to confirm the issue and that I had reached an
impasse with no customer satisfaction.

It ended up with a FitBit Versa replacement under warranty.
