Resting Heart Rate

Ever since the recent update, my resting heart rate has increased every day.  It’s unnerving. It seems to be unrelated to anything, including my actual heart rate while sitting at me desk! My resting heart rate is 6-8 beats higher than what my heart rate actually is while “at rest” at my desk. Did something change on your end or do I need to rush in to see my doctor?

I don't know about your case or the relations to recent update, but:

Here is a article in the Fitbit Blog that might give some insights:

6 Things Your Resting Heart Rate Can Tell You About Your Health.

Also note that it is common to see your heart rate below the RHR, due to the way Fitbit calculates RHR.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

RHR depends on lots of things, it can change in this range depending on your food, sleep quality  outside temperature and so on.

If it is in the normal range of your gender and age  dont worry.
