I've been using the SPO2 clock face on my Versa 2 since it came out. Last night, in the middle of the night, my Versa 2 buzzed me waking me up. When I looked at the clock face, it was showing my other back up face. When I tried to choose the SPO2 clock face, it was no longer available.
Checking the store, it's now listed as out of region for the US.
First of all, what gives? Secondly, don't wake me up in the middle of the night because you suddenly pull a clock face.

I found the answer myself.
SpO2 is available only in certain regions. When I created my Fitbit account a long time ago, I didn't fill in the optional country, state, and city in the personal information page.
In the middle of the night, literally in the middle of the night, that was enough to trigger Fitbit to switch the clock face for another, uninstall it on my watch, and then not allow me to re-install it. I couldn't even see it in the clock store.
Once I filled my location information in, in the personal profile page using the Fitbit web page, the option showed up. I could install the clock face.
This was badly handled. First, Fitbit should know from my internet connection what region I'm in. Secondly, it should never uninstall anything from a customer's device, especially when doing so triggers an event to wake the customer up.
I suspect this came about because of Google buying Fitbit.
