I've had my fitbit for a little over a year and my screen just stopped working. It is still counting my steps and buzzing for notifications but I can't see the clock or steps unless I get on my phone. A similar thing happened to my sister's watch after having it for just a year. I don't know if I should even buy a new watch at this point if I can only expect it to last a year.

Hi @libbyp1 try restarting it several timeits and try a factory reset using the buttons. Im guessing you have an original Versa, not a light. If it is a Light, let me know as the Factory Reset is different. If they dont revive the screen then Im afraid it has died. I have had my versa getting on for 2 years and itis still going well, so not all die, and if you read the forums, compared to the number sold the number of early deaths is not high. I hope you can revive yours. Always contact Customer Support, though as they may be able to help.
VERSA FACTORY RESET USING BUTTONS
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.
