Screen brightness dilemma

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a Versa 2 and no matter which brightness setting I put it on - dim, normal, or max - the screen will be super dim in bright sunlight and very bright in darkness. This seems to me like the opposite of how it should be. It's especially inconvenient when I try to run in the middle of the day and cant see the screen to track or see the details of my run. Am I doing something wrong with this setting??

@Finchy711 Are you changing the brightness from the Settings app on your Versa or Quick Settings Menu on Versa? Also, as always as the first step - have you tried rebooting your tracker several times by pressing and holding the back button until screen turns off and Fitbit logo appears?

@Marrrmaduke I've been changing the settings from the Settings app on my Versa. And I have tried restarting the watch as well.

@Finchy711 Just to make sure, swipe down on the main screen of your Versa like you wanted to check the notifications, and wait for the quick settings bar to appear. Tap the gray icon (first icon on the right) to open quick settings. Try changing the brightness from there by tapping the sun icon. Also, make sure the moon icon is not selected. Let me know how it goes. Stay safe!
