Screen fell off, no reason

Today the screen completely separated from the Versa body. It was not dropped or hit in any way. I had just had lunch with a friend and was sitting in my car when I felt something brush against my wrist and I looked down. The screen was dangling from the watch body. I have no clue how this happened. I am very careful with the watch, it had never been damaged, dropped or hit hard enough to cause this. The screen is in perfect shape.

 

Has this happened to anyone else?

 

I tried to load photos but the site will not allow them.
