Screen not turning off when receiving a notification

Hi,

For the last couple of days my Versa's screen will not time out. Every time I receive a notification the screen will turn on and stay on until I press the left button. This is having an adverse effect on the battery life as sometimes I don't notice a notification for a few minutes and the screen is happily burning away and running the battery down. I did a factory reset yesterday but it is still displaying the same behaviour. Screen timeout is set to 10 seconds but is there a setting in the 32.70.7.14 firmware that I'm missing that overrides this?

Thanks for any help with the matter.

It appears that the behaviour was due to a clock face (BV Designs Time & Weather). I have contacted the developer.

After discussion with the developer and some messing with settings page of the clock face, it appears that disabling “Display Seconds” resolves the problem, at least in the case of my Versa.
