Seconds display when using 'always on'

Just bought the new versa 2.... I was under the impression I could have a clock face that shows seconds that I could keep on (always on). However I've tried several clock faces and they don't change the always on screen. The always on screen has an analog or digital face, neither of which display seconds. Please tell me I'm missing something and didn't just waste my money.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to have an always-on clock face that shows seconds. It's definitely something Fitbit should have made more clear.

This is by design to save battery life. A clock face that has seconds would have to update every second and drain more power. The current implementation only has to update every minute.

I'm super mad. I am a nurse and got this watch specifically because it said it had always on option. Ridiculous to not include second hand.

I agree whole heartedly. I too am a nurse and was looking forward to wearing my Fitbit 3 24/7 to track my scores. Now I will have to take it off for at least 9 hours a day. Defeats the purpose of a Fitbit.
