Subject says the problem. Travel, land, used to update time from iPhone on first sync. Now it takes over 10 syncs, no change, and several hours before it finally updates. This is a serious problem. Persists over reboot (watch and iPhone), connection is fine. Need a solution….

My watch will not sun with my iPhone. Watch displays the wrong time. I tried what you suggested and still not working. Restarted everything several times as well.

Thanks you for sharing this information and for the troubleshooting steps performed. Do you have the latest Fitbit Firmware and OS for your mobile device? Have you checked the settings on your mobile device?
