After a couple of years with this Versa 2 I noticed the side button is disabled in the early morning.

I have DND on from 930p to 6a. Could that be the cause? I did clean around the button with a toothpick.

During the day it works fine?

I’m sorry to hear that you are having difficulties with your Fitbit Versa 2. Your time while dealing with this situation is highly appreciated.

 

When you turn on the Do Not Disturb (DND) setting your notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders to move don't cause the watch to vibrate or the screen to turn on. The side button should still work as normally.

 

If you haven't done so, please restart your Watch by following these instructions.

EdisonFitbit.. I just realized that a long time ago I step up SLEEP Mode (not DND) from 915p to 500am. The side button does not respond till after 5am.

So during most of the day it works fine. Like now.. could that be what is happening?? Sleep mode kills the side button. I can tap and that will work during those times of sleep..
