Sleep score stopped working

I got my Fitbit 5 days ago. The first 2 nights I clicked on the Begin Sleep Now button and the sleep tracking worked great. The last 2 nights it stopped working. I didn’t change anything. I restarted the device and that didn’t do anything. I used the chat feature this morning and they suggested I try not clicking on the Sleep Now option. Has that worked for anyone? Not sure why pressing that works and then all of a sudden doesn’t work.

"Begin Sleep Now" button prevents sleep score.  Just let Fitbit figure out when you are asleep by itself.

"Begin Sleep Now" is a leftover from older models that did not have heart rate sensors and had to just rely on motion sensors to detect sleep; can also be used for naps of less than one hour which will not be auto-detected by Fitbit.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
