One of the main reasons why I bought this Fitbit versa is for sleep tracking.
I dunno why, the sleep tracking seems to delay for around 3 hours every night.
When I go to bed at 2am, it will start tracking from 5am.
If I go to bed at 3am, it will start tracking from 6am !?
How come ? I am sure I fall asleep right away. Is it my Fitbit Versa hardware problem ?

Might have something to do with timezones? Do you have it set up correctly? Go to Settings of your account.

Thank you for your suggestion, but I'm sure I've set it to my correct time zone, also, I don't think it's related. I can sleep during day time and the fitbit should still be able to track my sleep !!!

I have the same issue since I got my Versa. I had the Charge HR before this without any issues but now my sleep only starts about 2.5hrs after I go to bed. The wakeup time is correct so it's not a timezone issue.

Do you have any idea how to fix it ?

Think I figured it out, guys. I determined that having the same Fitbit linked to multiple devices (Ipad, android, etc) via Bluetooth, creates a conflict. Seems to really go haywire after waking up, first thing in the morning, when switching between devices (ie going in and out of rooms where the different devices are). You will need to deactivate Bluetooth on all but one device ... or somehow keep all but your primary devices out of range. Worked for me. Good luck gang!
PS. Someone should get Fitbit to resolve this via software upgrade!

I have delay also on the Versa light. First there is a delay from wake-up until a sleep analysis is available. Due to medical treatments I sometimes have annerratic sleep schedule; yesterday afternoon four hours of sleep didn’t register until about three hours later. I would like to be able to trigger the analysis when I wake up.
I also see delays of several hours between bed time and the beginning of the related sleep report. Sleep sensitivity is set at normal so the report seems to be telling me that my wrist movement is abnrmal: so much so that no sleep benefit is gained during that time. Very much questionable.
Regarding bluetooth: wow. That would be a pain. I have an office with a computer in the room below the bedroom. I will try shutting it down at night.

I had the same issue on my Charge 3 - there is a delay of hours from wake-up until a sleep analysis is available, so I bought a new Charge 4 a few months ago and now it’s happening on that. It had functioned fine for the first couple of months I had the Charge 4. It’s vexing. Any thoughts are welcome...
