Smart wake on versa 1

I read in a article recently that fitbit versa 1 will also get the function "smart wake". When is this happening?

Unfortunately, all they've said so far is what's in the press release:

"Smart wake coming soon; available only on Fitbit Ionic and Fitbit Versa family of smartwatches"

I'll leave you to guess what "soon" means

So I guess the new firmware update don't bring us this function?

I have found an app in Fitbit App Store: SmartAlarm. I think it should do the job, I've just installed and want to test it tomorrow morning. This is confusing that there's no pre-installed app for that advertised functionality.
