Sadly, you’ll need to try to ‘get over it’!

It will frustrate you to death, otherwise!

Ive got a reading about three times out of 90 nights.

Ive done everything imaginable over & over.

Fitbit has become so inconsistent.

They keep trying to add stuff before they’ve worked out the technology.

I will not buy another Fitbit product until they can do better.

I find I am now consistently receiving readings over what has been >month period.

(However the whole experience has not given me any confidence in the values given. I do not have Fitbit Premium and so the figures are no recorded in the App; Fitbit do state a disclaimer that this is not a medical instrument and I have seen nothing giving me a warm feeling that they are working on resolving the issues to make their SPo2 solution a marketable feature.)

When I get a reasonable sleep (eg 6hr disturbed by not more than a couple of short interruptions), I consistently get readings from the procedure: 1) following the full sleep period take care to first synch the app (at this point you should be able to see the uncalibrated SPo2 trace in the app’s detailed display for the night’s sleep) and then 2) reboot watch by depressing the watch button until the display blanks & then shows the Fitbit logo, after which the % value and lower/upper range limits appear on the watch’s SPo2 screen.

spo2 display works for abt 1 month then stops for almost 1 week now

spO2 used to show for many months then quit showing for about 2 weeks. Now it's back by itself. I did not do anything.

But I notice the % showed is not correct. With the almost same graph staying low not going above the medium line,  I once get 96 and sometimes get 91 or 94 (I use the finger clipping spO2 and get 96). So I base the accuracy on the graph (phone app)  more than the percentage showed on the clock

SpO2 simply doesn’t work!!     ALWAYS see “Couldn’t read SpO2”.    When watch needs replacement will vote with my money and buy another brand IF there’s no new firmware “fix”

Over recent 3 months I do now consistently get daily readings, but whether I believe them is another matter. On the basis of their response to customer feedback alone, my next smart watch / tracker will not be a Fitbit product (unless they provided one foc as  customer relations gesture).  I’ve used Fitbit products since 2011, but coincidentally I’ve also been experiencing problems with my Aria scales.  However, the Versa 2 SPo2 feature only became available as a feature after I’d been using the device for a couple of months, and got it as a freebie upgrade, So I can’t really complain, just a pity it has personally lead to brand disappointment.

Following my claim yesterday of consistent SPo2 readings over a few months, giving you an upbeat message of encouragement, it failed for last night’s sleep. But herein may be a clue.  I know I did not put the watch into SPo2 display before what was a good sleep.  If that’s not the reason, perhaps the watch is just too darn smart, and knows when & how it can best wind me up.... !

I did not put my watch at the spO2 screen at all, still I get the spO2 percentage in the last few days after a period of % no show. And I did not change anything in the settings

Sounds promising for you. I found some Fitbit instructions regarding how to use the feature. It stated the SPo2 feature only worked if the sleep period included a minimum period of undisturbed sleep. If you don’t get a reading it might correspond with disturbed sleep period.

That's true. Interestingly for last 2 weeks, I am also getting readings. Feels like the system is not too broken now. Cheers and happy new year!

my sense is doing the same thing.  No reading and telling me to sleep. Super annoying for the money I paid.  Last nights stats were blank.  All of them. Grrr

“Factory Reset” fixed my failing Versa SPo2 clock face. 2 1/2 months without issues, and counting.

Welcome to the Forums, @Lornahara@bk01012016 and @SpiceZoi, thanks for the input.

I understand how are you feeling and appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this SpO2 issue. As our friends here indicated, you can try to factory reset your device and test it. You can also follow the steps in the article: .

Hey @DUCHOA, it's great to see you here.

Regarding your inquiry about this feature, I recommend taking a look at the help article: How do I track blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) with my Fitbit device?.

Happy stepping!

I imagine you already have but have you tried changing the watch face to another sp02 one? I had the same problem as you but when I changed it it started working.

Sounds promising, but so far I’ve only been able to find one SPo2 clock face for Versa 2, ie the ‘SPo2 Signature’ by Fitbit. (I also tried to Google the market without success.) can you point me in the right direction please? Thank you.
