Spotify app working only with WiFi

The second I leave home and connect to 4g I just get a message saying connect a device but nothing shows up. The second I reconnect my phone to wifi, my device immediately appears and it works no worries. 

It seems the Spotify app is able to pull through data from wifi but not 4g?
