Just went from Charge 2 to Versa Lite and lost the “stairs climbed “ feature. What happened?

Versa Lite does not have the altimeter for stairs climbed - one of the things that makes it the "Lite" version.

ETA: For anyone concerned about lack of stair count affecting calories burned, that is not a factor.  You still get increased calories from your heart rate going up.  Stairs are a stand-alone measurement; i.e. they do not affect any other data.

However, I do realize some still like to see stairs for reasons other that calorie burn.

Thanks for the response. I was afraid that was the case. I do miss that feature.

I miss it too.  I wish they would have left out the calorie count and left the stairs in!

But dropping stairs gets to eliminate a hardware sensor (altimeter) from cost.  I imagine that was a big factor to get a lower price point.
