Stairs on Versa Lite

So it seems that a major difference between the Versa and the Versa Lite is that the Lite doesn't track stairs climbed.How can that be when my ancient no-frills Fit Bit can do this? Does that mean that the stairs don't show up on the watch itself, but they show up on the dashboard, or do they just not get counted at all?

Hi @RustyBrooks  In the interests of making a lower priced Smart Watch an altimeter was not included in the design of the Lite. No altimeter = no step counting.
