Hi, I wanted to submit some feedback on the exercise app update that came with the new firmware.
I have one of the original Versa watches, and I'm finding that after the update I can no longer use the bottom right button to start an activity after I've opened it.
I run, nearly daily. It's winter now, and it's well below freezing here. Part of my routine was opening up the activity (which requires pulling up my sleeve and exposing my arm), and then putting my clothing back in place quickly and waiting for the buzz to signal that GPS has connected before using the hard button through my sleeve layers to start the activity while I start my run. I can still pause and finish the activity with the hard buttons, as before, but I can no longer start it...necessitating that I stand there with my arm exposed for longer than necessary, and then awkwardly pull my sleeve back into place as I start my run.
I don't object to the other changes to the app. The colors are ugly, but don't impact functionality. This one simple change does, for users of your product in colder climates. It's a simple change, but an impactful one, and definitely for the worse. Please change it back.

Hi @Darkfaith, welcome to the community.
Great suggestion!
I would recommend posting this over on the feature suggestions board (here) for better coverage with the Fitbit Devs. This also allows other users to vote on your suggestion too, the more votes it gets, the more chance there is of it being implemented. I did do a quick search and wasn't able to see an existing suggestion, so you would need to create a new one.

This is not a feature suggestion, this is a request that they restore functionality that was there just last week. Put back something that was working well that they took away, for no reason that I can figure out, just as cold weather became a thing.

Call it what you will, but I still think this will get more attention in the feature suggestion board as that is the board used by the developers.

I have the same issue.
Having to hit the soft button just right takes way more attention than needed.
If you were in an actual race the time wasted trying to start the fitbit exercise tracker would be wasted.
This needs to be changed back.
