Step count gets reduced after sync-Versa 2

I am using Versa 2. Last couple of days, I am facing a peculiar issue. The total step count gets reduces by 4000-5000 after I sync in the night. This is so frustrating.

 

Firstly, the issue of Active Zone Minutes getting recorded erroneously after the update is still not resolved. Now this issue has cropped up.

 

Request Fitbit Customer Care to have this issue resolved.

 

Note: There is no issue in syncing or charging and I am able to sync my Versa 2.

Thanks for the information provided.

 

Whether you have a third party app connected to your Fitbit account, please make sure the activities recorded on their side don't get overlapped and therefore overwrite the exercises recorded by your Fitbit Versa 2.

 

For information about how you earn Active Zone Minutes please visit this site.

 

In addition, please be aware that our team has just released a new version of the Fitbit app 3.41 for iOS and Android devices. For instructions on how to check your current version and update, please visit this article and open the menu "How do I update the Fitbit app?".

 

If you don't have any option to update, you should be able to do it over the next days. Please be aware this is a progressive rollout which means everyone will receive it at different stages.

Thanks for the reply. Yesterday again the count got reduced by around 5 K. The only third party app linked in Strava and it is there for a long time now. I am facing this issue since last 3 days and it is really frustrating when your step count gets reduced by a big margin.

 

Also the App page in Play store shows the app is upto date.

 

Also I am very well aware how Active Zone Minutes are earned. However fitbit does not want to accept or understand the issue and keep sending links on how to earn the same. 

 

Kindly help and have this sorted out.
