Steps disappeared after syncing my Versa

So I did a 17mile walk today tracked on my phone through fitbit exercise tracker. I hit 40k steps, this was after I had finished and synced my tracker. Just looked at my watch and it now say 37k steps.  Where have my steps gone?

@SunsetRunner It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since some all the steps were not synced to your Dashboard.

 

Please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, please monitor your Versa and see if the issue happens again. I'll be happy to follow up.

 

In the meantime, check out your online Dashboard and Fitbit app show the same issue.
