Hey, I’m just posting this here to see if anyone knows anything that might help my situation.
My Fitbit was taken by someone and I’ve been looking for ads to see if they are selling it. I’ve found someone who’s posting it where it was taken…Is there anyway to check when viewing a Fitbit or re-connecting one to my app.
maybe a serial number that is specific to a Fitbit?
or maybe how it reconnects to my app?

Hi @stolenfit guess you're sure it was stolen. You notify the police? The most Fitbit seems able to tell us is if someone has put it on their account and removed it from yours. You seeing any activity on your app since it was stolen? You can always ask customer support directly what, if anything, they can recommend. https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en_US

Hi. Thank you for the response, and guidance to costumer service.
Yes, I’m certain of the theft. To answer your question, I did not contact the police because I thought it would be excessive to get them involved, although I suppose I should have just gone and done it…
I followed your guidance and unfortunately customer service has said that there is no indication that would say if i paired my old (stolen) watch or a new versa 2 watch.. I guess I’m out of luck…but I mentioned it could be a good thing to add for future Fitbit devices, some kind of I.D memory for the phone app to store?
