My Fitbit Versa was working fine, but has not been usable for a couple of weeks now. First, it suddenly went from needing a twice weekly charge to a daily charge. To avoid over charging I was waking at 5am to charge it before leaving for work. Then the battery would die within 6-12 hours.
I pressed down all the buttons. but nothing happened.
I have closed the app and re-opened the app, and synched and refreshed.
Today It would only turn on if it’s in the charging cradle. As remove the Versa, in a matter of seconds, the battery has gone from 100% to 0%, .
It eventually turn back on while still in the cradle but any attempt to remove it begins the same cycle of dying and restarting in the cradle. I have bought a new cradle, tried charging on 3 different sources.
I’ve followed all the steps on this link https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1190.htm ,but nothing works.

Seems like a lot of people are having the same issues, me included and fitbit isn't offering any support besides suggesting we buy new ones. Mine is just over a year old and died this morning. I've been trying all avenues to reach someone who can help sine this moring with no success thus far.

I have been facing exactly the same issue since last 1week otherwise my versa had been working fine.
It won't light up and now lights up only on the charger showing 0 to 100%.
Strangely this seems like a software glitch

Its frustrating, as Fitbit have closed email support, suggesting a new one without trying to resolve the issues with the existing one. I understand many people have bought the new one have similar problems. I am inclined to believe this all has somthing to do with the recent update. I am sure its just a coincidence that a Versa 3 release is just around the corner.

I’ve got same issue. Shameless attempt to push sales. Apple did something similar and was caught.
