After buying and setting up my Fitbit Lite less than 48hrs ago in trying to customise and make my Fitbit as good for me as possible I’m being told that my app/watch aren’t updated so it can’t download.
After looking online at several people having the same problem I tried every solution like:
- Deleting the app on my phone
- Checking to make sure my phone is compatible/up to date on iOS
- Making sure my app is up to date
- Reseting my watch
- Syncing my watch several times
- Allowing my watch to completely charge
Any suggestions for fixing this would be amazing!

I think it's your watch that needs an update. When you set up a Fitbit it checks for an available software update and if it finds one it downloads a bit of it, in the background, each time you sync. When it is fully downloaded the app will prompt you to install it. Fitbit say this can take around 48 hours (depending on how often you sync) so hopefully you'll soon get that update prompt.
