It would be helpful if there was setting to disable the auto adjust to lighting conditions so the brightness level stays the same no matter what the lighting conditions are

Hi, AFAIK the Versa 2 has only three options for the display brightness: normal - maximal - dimmed. I do not see the option "auto adjust". Do you have the "display always on mode" enabled, if yes this might be the problem. Disable that feature, restart your Versa and choose the brightness that you like the most. Regards kuzibri

Hi, since you own the Versa 2, you have the option to let the display always on: Settings - "Display always on Mode" and enable that. Your display will now be on all the time. Mind though that it will lead to a shorter battery life. Regards kuzibri

That is not how it works
I have the Display always on mode to On, however there right above that one a screen timeout that can be set no longer that 60s which is what I have it set to
after that time expires it switches to the :always on clock (assuming I have the Always-on-display set to on
Then that clock sets it's brightness based on the amount of ambient light
so in summary:
The always on mode does not display the installed clock face (Fitbit's or any other) for more that the screen timeout
After the timeout it switches to the always on clock which is not the installed clock face and it also adjusts its brightness based on the lighting
Do you understand now?

All I'm asking for is to turn off the brightness auto adjust
I'm assuming I'm talking to a fitbit employee, if not there is nothing you can do to accomplish this

No, you're not talking to an Fitbit employee, but just like you, just a user who tries to be helpful the best way. I assume I do understand you know. As I see it, the always on display mode has the auto adjust mode to try and save the battery, cause this setting is a battery drainer. If you want to get rid of that, the only option for you is to set the brightness of the display to max and the time out to 60 secs and the wake up of the screen to automatic (so turns on after movement of your wrist). This setting reacts very fast, so in principle there is no need for the display to be always on and is a very good battery saver also. You can set the display to automatic by going to the settings - Screen activation and set it to automatic. IMO, the main problem of your is solved with this solution. Regards kuzibri
