Super disappointed - Versa not water resistant

Ordered a Versa June 18. My watch lasted 2 months after the year warranty. I was impressed that Fitbit understood the timing and their product should last beyond their warranty. They've sent me two devices since then. Both have stopped working within 60 days. Unfortunately fitbit doesn't see a need to honor a functioning replacement. Beware... Two of the watches have broken due to water exposure. My last one went swimming for five minutes before glitching out. If you want to keep your watch functional do not expose it to water! And do not expect fitbit to offer a quality replacement product or care of they're defective once outside year warranty.

@Jackie2Hawaii Thanks for stopping by!

Sorry for the delay in my reply and to hear about your damaged Versa after swimming with it. You can actually swim with your Fitbit Versa device but I am sorry your experience has been different. I have personally swam in pools and even the sea with an Ionic and haven't had any issues. Support does follow the guidelines listed in the warranty so if your device is outside the warranty period they won't be able to replace it. Still thank you for sharing your feedback.

I'll be around.
