Swapped from Ionic to Versa 2. Calorie issues.

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I'm currently wrapping up an hour workout.

Versa 2 says 239 calories. Ionic would say 900.

Weights right. Heights right. Etc.

Someone help me fix this.

@JacobStahler1 Welcome to the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.

Thanks for letting me know that you started experiencing this when you swapped from Ionic to Versa 2.

I appreciate that you've checked that your personal information is properly entered in your Dashboard. Fitbit devices combine your basal metabolic rate (BMR)—the rate at which you burn calories at rest to maintain vital body functions (including breathing, blood circulation, and heartbeat)—and your activity data to estimate your calories burned. Since your Versa 2 tracks heart rate, your heart-rate data is also included, especially to estimate calories burned during exercise. The number you see on your Fitbit device is your total calories burned for the day.

I would like you to follow these tips to improve your heart rate information. What kind of workout are you doing?

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
