I have two fit bits, a Versa 1 and a Versa 2. I would like to be able to switch back and forth between them, keeping a waterproof band on one and a dry only band on the other. Is this possible? How should I go about it?

Sorry, but not possible.
From Can I use more than one Fitbit device with the same account?
Note that you can't connect multiple devices that use the Fitbit App Gallery to one account. For Fitbit Charge 3, Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Inspire series, and Fitbit Versa series, only connect one of these devices to your account at a time.

It has been suggested that to do this, you could add and remove one or the other from your account every time you want to switch. Haven' seen anyone report doing it. If that doesn't sound like too much of a PITA for you, it could work.

Hi, it's not really hard, but if you have other than basic settings, you could lose them every time maybe?
Go to the mobile app, click on the top left where there's a blank picture to access your settings. Your current device will be listed. You'd tap your current device and then the garbage can. At the bottom of the devices area, there is also a set up device option. You'd keep repeating these. But as I said, never saw that anyone tried it. Don't know what you might lose like clockface or whatever.

I've removed and re added mine trouble shooting before. Only thing I really remember is the dashboard order reset. You could try removing your Versa and re adding now, to see what happens.

@janetaro If you want to try switching, here's how.
Make sure you sync from tracker on wrist before starting, to get all data from there to the main database.
Then go to 'Add a New Device' as if starting from scratch. It will sat something like, 'you already have this device connected. Do you want to replace it' and say 'yes'. Then it goes through the setup procedure for the new tracker.
It often helps to get the other tracker a ways off so phone isn't getting conflicting bluetooth signals.
How time-consuming the process is seems to vary quite a bit; sometimes it's just a few minutes, but I see several posts of people getting hung up trying to set up new device, having to go through process a few times.
So I guess give it a try if you like, the first few times, don't do it when you need it in a hurry in case it doesn't go quickly.
Also I would suggest making sure you know names of clock faces you are using in case they get reset.
