Syncing Bowflex Elliptical with Fitbit account

My wife and I just got our Fitbits and have a Bowflex BXE116 Elliptical coming in soon. I am wondering if there is any method for syncing Bowflex Results App to Fitbit.

I am aware that there is a workaround for the MAX trainer app (sync both Fitbit and MAX trainer to MyFitnessPal, they cross sync). However, the machine we are getting is not one of the supported machines for MAX trainer. As far as I am aware, we can only use the Results app.

 

If nothing else, I know we can just wear our Fitbits and set the workout type to "Elliptical." Just curious if there is a similar work-around for Results.

Thank you for your inquiry about Bowflex integration with your Fitbit account. There isn't an official integration but you can reach out to Bowflex's support to see if they are willing to develop this integration using the tools Fitbit provides for developers here. As you mentioned you can always use the elliptical option on the device itself to track this data. Additionally if you find a third party app that can link these accounts then please share them here so other members may benefit from this.
