Syncing Trouble

Can you make an update that doesn't require logging out and logging back in everytime I want to sync my versa? Thanks

Hello @Sabrinacwiater, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums. Sorry for the late response.

 

Thank you for sharing this information about the trouble you've been having to sync. This is actually not a normal behavior of the app, you should be required to log back in in order to sync your data. 

 

Could you please provide a few more details about this?  Are you getting any specific error message? When did you start seeing this behavior on the app?

I stopped using it for about a year and restarted a few months ago. Ever since I've started using it again I almost always have to log out and log back in to get it to sync to my phone. I also am having trouble getting it to update.

Thank you for sharing this information about the trouble you've been experiencing to sync your watch. 

 

Before considering other options, could you please confirm if you already tried all the steps listed here to resolve syncing problems? In addition, please make sure to check if the mobile device you're using is listed here as a compatible device to sync with the Fitbit app.  

 

Regarding the firmware update, please make sure that you've followed the steps listed here if you're having the same problem to update the watch: Why can't I update my Fitbit device?
