Syncing and update

So,I was updating my fitbit versa 2 and then the fitbit logo was on my screen for about 30 minutes. It said installation in progress on my phone. I decided to logout of my account and come back in but after I did that my fitbit had the fitbit logo on it. I put the charging cable on and woke up the next day and it was still on the logo screen. I logged back in into my account and tried to setup my fitbit again but it wouldn't sync. For the past couple days my watch is on the screen and I don't know what to do. It wouldn't reboot it self when I pressed and held the left button.

Thanks for detailing the issues experienced with your Versa 2 and the steps tried prior posting. It seems your watch got stuck during the update reason why the Fitbit logo keeps being displayed and to work on this together I'd recommend the following steps:

 

  1. Remove your Versa 2 from the Bluetooth settings on your phone.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections nearby. This is just for this process.
  3. Reboot your phone.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile's icon > set up a device > Versa 2.
  5. Select replace device and follow the onscreen instructions one more time. If you're prompt to do the update, please wait until the process is completed.

I am having the same problem with my Ionic because of the update.  I tried to install it, and now my screen is frozen on the icon.

I took all of the steps that you suggested, and nothing worked.

My phone doesn't find my watch.  My watch is frozen after trying to reset if several times.

Please advise!

I called customer service, and after trying all of their suggestions, they determined that they couldn't help me.  My watch was just out of warranty, but they offered to replace it anyway!

Hopefully there won't be any issues with the new one.
