Hi @Shelleby, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums!

First, I appreciate your effort and patience for troubleshooting this situation prior to posting, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. Let me share with you that our Fitbit devices use your mobile device information to display the correct time with the syncing process, therefore, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your iPhone 7 that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.

Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted, I'll be around if you need anything else.

Your update is appreciated @Shelleby.

Thanks for troubleshooting your device with me and for the screenshot that was attached. To further investigate, can you please let me know which phone are you using and which is your daughter's phone? When was the first time you experienced this situation and how many times since then? I suggest you to try the following steps in the meantime I receive your answers:

  1. Restart your Fitbit.
  2. Please on the phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth, and remove all the connections that exist with the device. (Forget device, ignore or unpair depending on the version of the operating system of the phone).
  3. Turn off the Bluetooth and restart the phone. (Switch off and on again).
  4. When the mobile device is back on, turn the Bluetooth on again but do not attempt to connect to the Fitbit from here.
  5. Go on the app and try setting up the Fitbit as a new device.

Let me know if the issue persists.

I first started getting this on Tuesday 16th june where I couldn’t sync and the mins slow really started to show .
I have set up as new device forgot all other devices via Bluetooth.
Turned phone off and Bluetooth off for a couple of hours no luck.
I have got as far as getting it to set up the point of clock face appears on screen then nothing back to not being able to find device again to update tracker or sync. To then restart all over again the process you listed. At the moment we have
My phone is a iPhone 7 daughters phone a 8 +.
